'Cases' Somerset Rebels' promoter Debbie Hancock has admitted to being 'staggered' by the take-up rate for places at next Wednesday's (July 15th) behind closed doors practice session, and has advised that just a handful of places remain.

"My phone went manic on Wednesday afternoon just hours after we published the event with more than two thirds of the places being booked almost before I could catch my breath. We have had a few more enquiries since and we are now in the position of only being able to offer a couple or so more places. So, if there are any riders who would still like to put in some practice then I would urge them to give me a call on 07825 703307 as soon as possible because once we are fully subscribed we will NOT be able to increase numbers."
"Once again, I would remind everyone that access to the stadium will be strictly regulated with only a booked-in rider and one mechanic permitted in. There will be NO opportunities for supporters so if anyone was thinking of just 'calling-in' on the day then they should forget about doing so as they will be turned away. We have to operate within these strict regulations and so likewise we have already contacted the requisite numbers of track crew as we will not need our raceday compliment and therefore anyone who is not on the officials list will also be refused entry."
