After Wednesday's postponement of the first leg of the 'Cases' Rebels Knockout cup tie against Redcar, the Somerset side will travel to Teesside on Friday for what now will be their first meeting in this competition.

The Rebels will be aiming to put themselves in the driving seat to meet the winners of either Glasgow or Sheffield in the quarter final with team manager Garry May insistent that the focus will be on turning the Redcar Bears over on their own shale.
"We must go there looking to win the meeting in the first instance, that is the best way to ensure we are in control of the tie. I look at the results and see that Leicester won there last month and whilst Redcar responded with a big victory over Scunthorpe it is evident there is some vulnerability there. Todd [Kurtz] had some good scores on that track last season as too has Nico [Covatti] in the past and with Rory [Schlein] and Bomber [Chris Harris] I shall be hoping that this will give us a good foundation to build on."
The second leg of the tie will now be held at the Oaktree Arena on Wednesday 15th May just 48 hours before the Rebels hit the road again when they open their league campaign with a trip to Scunthorpe on Friday 17th.
