The club is delighted to learn that during their first season association with charity partners Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, the vital emergency service benefitted to the tune of more than three hundred pounds.

Charlotte Routley, the charity's Deputy Chief Executive Office, expressed their gratitude in a letter to the club which read "we would like to thank Somerset Speedway and their supporters for the very generous donation of £364.73 which was raised at events in March and August last year, through the bucket collections and the sale of merchandise."

The charity requires funds of over £3.5 million per annum to continue the vital service that it provides, operating 365 days per year and has, since its launch carried out over 12,500 missions, heloing those in need across Dorset and Somerset who are in life threatening situations.
