SOMERSET SPEEDWAY will be embarking on their 20th season in 2019 and for the 8th consecutive season will have the backing of local engineering company CASES ENGINEERING.

A delighted Debbie Hancock, promoter of the Rebels, announced the extension of the sponsorship during the club's Presentation evening last Friday.
"I was in Ian Burns' (Cases' MD) office just the other day and I happened to broach the subject of sponsorship for next season and his response to me was an instant 'I don't think you would look right being called anything else would you?'. That was the green light I was so happy to get as Cases have been really good us here at Somerset and it is a pleasure to have them as our backers. Speedway has a habit of changing year on year and so for us to heading into an eighth straight season with the same major sponsors speaks volumes of their commitment to the club.
Sean Campbell and Rob Nigh, who effectively front the operation at Cases rarely miss a home meeting and they are true supporters as much as being club sponsors and I would like to thank them especially for all they have done for the club."

Situated within a mile and a half of the home of the Rebels, Cases was established in 1981 and in that time have developed an expanding portfolio of nationwide customers offering metal fabrication services that is both flexible and cost-effective. Since embarking on the road of team sponsors in 2013, Cases has seen the club win the Premiership Knockout Cup (2018), Premier league twice (2013 & 2016), Premier Knockout cup (2013 & 2015) and Premier shield (2014 & 2016)
