Ahead of their crucial second leg semi-final play-off meeting at Poole tonight, the 'Cases' Somerset Rebels have been hit by the news that Aaron Summers has been ruled out.

The 30-year old South Australian is undergoing medical attention for a wrist injury sustained at the weekend and means the Rebels will now operate the rider replacement for his rides and have drafted in Kyle Howarth as a guest for Bradley Wilson-Dean, who is recuperating from surgery undertaken last Thursday.

Garry May admitted "This is not the ideal preparation for such an important meeting but we can only wish Aaron well. He is going for x-rays today to try and establish the full extent of the damage and we hope that the news will be positive."
