The 'Cases' Somerset Rebels opened their away account with a well-deserved point at Belle Vue, taking the meetig to a last heat decider despite the worse possible start.

Conceding 5-1 heat defeats in those first two heats the Rebels spirits were lifted when Jack Holder delivered a blistering ride in heat three.
In form Dan Bewley whistled hom ine for his second win of the night but Jonas Jeppesen kept him honest in the fourth.
Heat five brought early hope as Jake Allen gated and Doyle quickly joined him, but tenacious Tungstate battled back fiercely to split the Rebels.
A tactical outing for Doyle didn't quite reap the reward Garry May was seeking as Craig Cook somehow managed to freeze out Doyle but Wright's third place at least maintained the status quo of an Aces 6 point lead.
Fricke dug deep to hold out Holder and the third straight shared heat followed in the eighth with Bewley conquering again. The run was broken when Lawson and the battling Jeppesen fired in a Rebels 4-2 and it was a brilliant ride again from Holder to claim the 10th over the threatening pairing of Cook and Bewley.
Doyle and Fricke showed speedway at it's very best and with Allen again notching a valuable third the deficit facing the Rebels went as low as two points.
The Aces response was instant as Bewley again beat a trying Jeppesen and guest Bjerre finished of a rare miserable night for Charles Wright.
The World Champion was tested to the hilt in heat 13 and showed his true colours over Cook and Fricke. The penultimate heat saw Holder at his best but Wilson-Dean just couldn't find the right line to best go with his speed so the Rebels headed into heat 15 needing maximum points for a draw.
It proved to be a classic to close out a good night's speedway as Doyle and Holder found themselves against Cook and Fricke. No matter how he tried Holder just couldn't quite get through the traffic whilst Doyle was squeezing every ounce of power out of his motor to hold off the Aces pair.
