For their second season in top flight British Speedway the Cases Rebels will have a new regular home race day of WEDNESDAYs.

With all clubs having worked closely together to accommodate a major move towards fixed night racing, thus increasing rider availability, the SGB Premiership will operate on Mondays and Wednesdays in the main with the Rebels adopting the latter day for the majority of their fixtures.

Promoter Debbie Hancock explained "Whilst I acknowledge that the change of night may not suit everyone it is important for us to look at the bigger picture and hopefully Wednesday nights at the Oak Tree will become a regular entry in the diary of many of our followers. We won't be totally devoid of Friday night racing however as we will be opening our season on GOOD FRIDAY (March 30th) with the visit of Poole; the second leg of the KO Cup contest with our Dorset neighbours. Earlier that day we will be journeying to Wimborne Road for an 11am start to the first leg."
"Then there is the Championship Pairs on FRIDAY 20th July, the night before the British GP, which is always a great meeting to host".

The club's first Wednesday fixture will be April 4th when Rye House will provide the opposition as the Rebels launch their SGB Premiership league meetings.
