Well look no further - here at the Oaktree Arena on Wednesday nights from March to October the ‘Cases' Somerset Rebels Speedway Team can provide just that...and even the parents can have fun at this one!!
CHILDREN BIRTHDAY PARTIES – Schedule and Terms & Conditions PIT WALK
The Birthday party will be met at the main turnstiles upon arrival by a club official and will first be taken on a ‘Pit Walk.’
This is where we take the children around to where the riders and mechanics prepare their bikes on a personally guided tour for a look ‘behind the scenes.’ Here they will have a chance to chat with the riders and ask any questions they may have and to have photos taken with them, so make sure you bring your cameras!
Some of the riders are from overseas so it is a good chance for the children to get to hear the different accents.
The party will then be taken for a walk out on the track itself and, if time permits, have a look in the referee’s box and maybe even get to chat to the referee.
To be able to do the above tour all children must arrive no later than 6pm.
BIRTHDAY TEA
After the track walk the birthday boy/girl will be given a free gift from the club shop, after which the birthday tea will be served in the clubhouse, The Oaktree, which is adjacent to the track.
The Birthday Party Group will have their own specially reserved table in the Oaktree Clubhouse, which is adjacent to the track itself, where they can choose their ‘Birthday Tea' from the menu below:
Menu A - ¼lb Beef-burger and Chips Menu B - Hot-dog and Chips Menu C - Chicken nuggets and Chips Menu D - Vegetarian Burger and Chips
All the above will be served with a Fruit shoot and each child will be given a token to spend in the Rebels Sweet Shop during the course of the evening.
Once the birthday tea has been completed the birthday boy/girl can take their fiends to accompany them on the centre green to watch with the first two heats of the night. You will be taken by a Somerset official but are asked to keep your children under strict supervision at this time whilst the races are underway.
After this time you can then watch the rest of the meeting from any part of the stadium you require
The price for all the above is just £7.50 per child, including the food.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
All bookings must be made and paid for in full with the party booking form completed no later than 2 weeks prior to the party date chosen (all meeting dates can be found on our website www.somerset-speedway.com).
Once received, any adults not included on the booking form cannot be added at a later date at the discount price. These will then have to pay at the turnstiles the full admission price.
No credits or refunds are given unless the meeting is cancelled in full prior to commencement due to the weather or any other unforeseen factors. It should be noted that speedway meetings can be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather conditions and/or other unforeseen circumstances.
